Overview
Beretta M1951 9mm Luger 4.5in Black Pistol – 8+1 Rounds – Used – TSometimes known as the Mo. 1951, the Beretta M1951 pistol was Beretta’s first locked-breech design. After being adopted by the Italian military as standard-issue, it was in limited production circa 1953-54 and didn’t reach full-scale production until late 1956 when a 9mm Parabellum model was introduced for civilian purchase. It remained in production until 1980, popular not only for its rugged performance, but also for its smooth-looking design, well-shaped grip, manageable recoil, and ease of offhand shooting.
