By registering and/or attending, you acknowledge your desire to participate in a training course, seminar, or event with Nagel Gun Shop, Inc. You recognize the inherent risks associated with this activity and agree to adhere to the following safety rules and guidelines at all times:
- Refund Policy: Deposits for any courses offered by Nagel Gun Shop, Inc. are non-refundable. Range fees must be paid at the time of registration or at the start of the class for courses hosted by outside entities.
- Liability Waiver: You agree to hold harmless Nagel Gun Shop, Inc. and its affiliates from any claims or damages related to your training sessions, whether scheduled or unscheduled.
- Credit Request: If you have an emergency that prevents you from attending, you may request a credit for a future course in writing within 14 days of the missed session. We will review your request and notify you of our decision.
- Course Cancellations: Nagel Gun Shop, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to low enrollment, but our no-refund policy remains in effect.
- Additional Fees: There may be a one-time range fee for live-fire training courses, which will be communicated in advance. You agree to pay any additional fees prior to training, typically around twenty-five dollars.
- Firearm Safety: You will treat all firearms as if they are always loaded. You will handle firearms only under instructor supervision or in designated areas after ensuring they are clear and unloaded. You must double-check with another person.
- Trigger Discipline: Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are aligned and you are ready to fire.
- Muzzle Awareness: Only point your firearm at intended targets and be aware of what is beyond them.
- Substance Use: You will not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the course.
- Distraction-Free Environment: Use of electronic devices is prohibited during participation, as they can be distracting and hazardous.
- Negligent Discharge Policy: Any negligent discharge may lead to your ejection from the course without refund.
- Instructor Discretion: Instructors have the authority to modify or terminate your participation if your performance raises safety concerns.
- Range Rules: You will learn and follow all range rules and policies, understanding that violations may have consequences.
- Professional Conduct: All participants are expected to maintain professionalism. We have policies in place regarding discrimination and unprofessional behavior.
Training and Discrimination Policy
You acknowledge that participating in this event is voluntary and that firearms will be discharged with live ammunition, which carries risks of injury or death. You agree that neither Nagel Gun Shop Inc. nor its representatives can be held liable for any injuries or damages incurred during the event.
By participating, you assume all associated risks and release the company from any liability. This agreement is binding on your heirs and family members.
You affirm that you are of legal age or have a guardian present to sign on your behalf. You will follow the commands of range staff and instructors at all times, with non-compliance possibly resulting in termination from the event without refund.
Image Release: You may opt to allow your image to be used for promotional purposes without compensation. You can decline this option during the event.
Credential Verification: You may need to provide credentials for class registration, which may include proof of government employment, military service, or a valid firearm permit.
Registration is only complete upon payment. You will be notified once your payment is received. If you register without payment, your spot may be given to another participant who completes their registration.
For hosted courses, familiarize yourself with the instructor’s policies on refunds and cancellations, as they may differ from ours.
We may update this policy periodically, and it is effective as of January 1, 2017. Please check this page regularly for any changes.
