The 590A1 models are specifically engineered for tough on-duty conditions, featuring Parkerized heavy-walled barrels, standard metal trigger guards, and safety buttons. Internally, they include dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lock-up, and an anti-jam elevator for smooth and reliable operation. Available in 12 gauge, the 590A1 can chamber both 2.75″ and 3″ factory shotshells. Additionally, all receivers are drilled and tapped, making them ready for Picatinny rail, sight, or optics installation.
